Filamentive Carbon Fibre PETg – also referred to as CF-PETg or PETG-CF – is a composite 3D printer filament engineered for performance and precision. Made from 85% PETg and 15% recycled carbon fibre, this material delivers exceptional mechanical properties and is designed for demanding applications.
Strong and dimensionally stable, CF-PETg prints with virtually no warping and has an attractive matte black finish. The carbon fibre reinforcement adds extreme stiffness, impact resistance, and heat resistance up to 80°C, making it ideal for industrial prototypes, jigs, fixtures, and end-use components.
Filamentive Carbon Fibre PETg is made from 100% recycled material, offering high-performance printing with a lower environmental footprint. Due to the abrasiveness of carbon fibres, a hardened or steel nozzle is essential for long-term use.
✅ 100% recycled material – sustainable CF-PETg filament
✅ High stiffness and strength – ideal for PETG-CF applications
✅ Matte black finish – reduced layer visibility, professional aesthetic
✅ No warping – excellent dimensional stability and print reliability
✅ Compatible with Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, UltiMaker, and more
✅ Trusted filament UK supplier – carbon fibre PETg for functional 3D printing
Printing temperature: 245 ± 10°C
Bed temperature: 70–80°C

Sustainability
Sustainability Profile: CF-PETg
Product Overview
Material name: CF-PETg (Carbon-Fibre-Reinforced Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified)
Origin: PETg base polymer derived from 100% recycled post-industrial sources; reinforced with carbon fibres for added strength and rigidity
Manufacturing location: European Union (using audited partner production facilities)
Environmental Credentials
Recycled content: 100% (percentage by weight; based on supplier material declarations)
Recycled Material: Post-industrial recycled (PIR) material recovered from controlled manufacturing waste streams
Carbon footprint: Supplier data indicates a significantly reduced carbon footprint compared to virgin PLA, due to recycled content use and localised production. Full life cycle assessment (LCA) in development.
Packaging: 100% recyclable cardboard spool. Check local guidelines.
Shipping: Manufactured in Europe, warehoused and distributed from the UK. All non-palletised shipments use DPD’s carbon-neutral delivery service, reducing transportation emissions for UK and EU customers.
Circularity & End-of-Life
Biodegradability: CF-PETg is not biodegradable.
Recycling: Not compatible with Filamentive’s PLA recycling scheme. Mechanical recycling is possible via specialist composite recyclers, but separation of carbon fibres is a limiting factor in conventional streams. Check locally.
Disposal/reuse guidance. At end-of-life, CF-PETg should be treated as a technical composite waste. Disposal via general waste or specialist industrial plastic recovery is advised.
Certifications & Standards
ISO: Production partners operate under certified quality and environmental management systems (EMS) such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
RoHS & REACH compliant: Free from restricted and hazardous substances, in line with UK and EU regulations
Internal testing: Every batch is tested for extrusion consistency and dimensional tolerance. Material is verified on in-house 3D printers to ensure reliable print performance and minimal variation across colours and batches.

The carbon fibre doesn’t change a lot. The parts have less flex and a nice textured look and feel.

After testing many different brand cf filaments I have found yours stands out above the rest no need for any prior drying prints awesome straight out of the box

Prints well, sticks to the bed and the results seem robust and stable. Layer details are smooth with a matte finish.

I use cf-petg when stiffness is a requirement. I print prototypes of new designs for aluminium extrusion profiles.
If I need to prototype an aluminium extrusion profile that requires a clip fit into another aluminium section then I use this Carbon Fibre Petg.
The increase in stiffness vs pla/pla plus etc. is very marked.
This helps the prototype be closer in stiffness to the end goal of an aluminium section that can clip into another.
Other filaments are too flexible and give a false impression of how the aluminium would work.
The CF-Petg isn’t as stiff a material as aluminium but is closer than the alternatives.

I‘ve printed a fan shroud using this awesome filament. I printed it on a delta printer. As it isn’t havng a full metal hotend I had to keep the temperature down to 230°C. The bed temperature I used was 60°C. I had absolutely no warping at all. Take care to print is using a hardened steel nozzle!

Just got a sample of this stuff and grit and looked amazing. I can’t wait to try more of it.

Awesome Filament! I’m a huge fan of pet-g but with the added carbon fiber, not only are the parts significantly more rigid the layer lines really do blend well with this stuff! 0.15 layer height’s return almost no visible lines and amazing quality prints. Will be ordering a LOT more of this, and the price is great!

Had a chance to use a sample of this for a prototype. Must say absolutely amazed by the results. The filament prints easily (used 220/80 celcius), has super smooth surface and looks very nice with the matte finish. I havent tested the impact resistance, but it looks promising

This stuff is amazing, prints so well and has a nice matt finish that hides layer lines, its also very strong. Best filament I have ever used!
Chris Brown (verified owner) –
Prints very easily! I have completed many prints with this filament now and haven’t have a problem with with the quality of the filament.
