We’re pleased to say that we will be exhibiting at Web Summit – which is being held in Lisbon, Portugal from the 6th – 9th November. Web Summit is “the best technology conference on the planet” and brings Fortune 500 companies, groundbreaking startups and world-class speakers to Lisbon.
As the world becomes more environmentally aware, Web Summit has recognised the need bring together the world’s most innovative startups, business giants, influencers and controversial voices from the fields of sustainability, green and environmental tech, energy efficiency and clean tech.
They call this section of the conference Planet:tech – where the world’s leading startups, business giants, innovators and influencers will showcase solutions to our planet’s most pressing problems including climate change and pollution.
This section has four key themes:
- Food waste
- Energy Ecosystem
- Circular Economy
- Traceability & Resource Security
As part of planet:tech, Web Summit are are flying 20 energy, resources, and environmental & clean tech startups to Web Summit, of which we are one! The organisers were impressed at how we are trying to tackle one of the world’s biggest problems – waste plastic – by turning it into an innovative solution for 3D printing.
